Charlotte Ryckman, Lawyer at Covington & Burling
Charlotte Ryckman is a senior associate in the life sciences practice of Covington & Burling, based in Brussels. Ms. Ryckman assists clients across a complex range of regulatory, legal and procedural matters. Her practice focuses on the European Union rules and on the laws in key EU Member States, including Belgium and The Netherlands.
Ms. Ryckman advises pharmaceutical and medical device companies in a variety of regulatory matters. Within the device space, she helps clients navigate the EU regulatory regime on medical devices and in-vitro medical devices. Currently, much of that work focuses on the recently adopted new Medical Devices and In-Vitro Medical Devices Regulations. Ms. Ryckman’s practice also focuses on product safety matters, particularly regarding telecommunications.
Ms. Ryckman has been involved in representing several companies in high-profile litigation matters in Belgium.
